My Mommyhood– loving almost every minute;
not wanting to trade a second of it.
After spending 17 weeks on complete bed-rest, and reaching a full-term pregnancy…
my baby girl makes her grand entrance.
My sweet baby girl… that is me in the background. I am all kinds of pregnant, and finally off of bed-rest. I made it to the ‘safe’ zone and got to spend my last 4 weeks up-right. This is one of my all time favorite photos.
That is me… without eyes, and a smile of pure fright, while partaking in ‘Kangaroo Care’ –that is what the NICU nurses call it… I call it scared out of my mind with my child on my chest and a bunch of tubes taped to my body. I thought I was going to ‘break her.’
I’d like to report –that I did not.
Me with the little one…
on family vacation in St Augustine, Fl.
