{this moment} – A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. Amanda Soule
“This Moment” is a ritual adopted from SouleMama …check out her blog, it is beautiful, and if you are moved please leave a link to your Moment in the comment box below. I was inspired to take part in the “This Moment” ritual after seeing it on Life – Inspired by the Wee Man. Check out her blog it is both inspirational and lovely!

Exactly… I worked on the outside for so long ~the inside was left behind!
I was reminded the day I captured this moment that it resides within me!

Red and yellow tulip… I was feeling down that day and forced myself outside with my camera; I started shooting in B&W, and 30 minutes in I was feeling better… shooting in color. I always want to remember that TODAY I have the tools, support and ability to pull myself by the boot straps ~so to speak.

Hi Andy, I am so flattered ~thank you! I took this in B&W, it’s of a red and yellow tulip… did not get this particular shot in color. I was feeling down so I grab my camera and placed it in B&W mode… 30 minutes into my backyard nature adventure I switched to color; I was feeling much better.
Here is the image I was going to originally use… I have it in color as well as black & white before and after, you can see the difference and in color:
