Such a breathtaking photo! I love lilies and I marvel at just how completely transparant they are. Reproductive organs out there, pollen that feeds bees, scent that attracts them, colors that have the ability to transform, the awe inspiring beauty and simplicity all at the same time. A picture is worth a thousand words.

I was never one for flowers until I got my first camera… I started taking pictures to capture moments with my kids, because I have such a bad memory, well after awhile my kids get bored with me taking their pictures so I started snapping flowers and BOOM…that is when the magic happened for me! They are very beautiful…even when the beauty begins to fade ~

It is a beautiful flower… I was surprised when it bloomed. I had not noticed it before, I was pulling out of my driveway and looked in its path…there it was. Needless, to say I got out of the car, went inside and got my camera. It was the day after my I attended my friends memorial service…lily was her favorite flower.
