A Day Shared

aday.org widget, May 15 Bring your camera dayPhotographing May 15th… thousands from around the world used the power of photography to create, share and compare perspectives on daily life!

In the First Preview a person from Sweden, a proud homeowner in India, a man on his way to work in Tokyo, a Mum from New Zealand shares her morning time norm, an image captured in Fukushima, and little toes taken by the Father, an Australian, who snapped the picture before leaving on assignment in Afghanistan.

I am still in the process of selecting which images I am going to submit, but in the mean time, I will share a few of my May 15th moments.

  • 7:30 amPhotography: Flower, Red Flower, Morning time dew

  • 2:30 pmPhotography: Candy, Kids, Summer time

I am so very glad that I took part in the A Day project and will most certainly do it again next year.

Depression, Signage, Mental HealthI got so much more out of this than I thought; I knew I would have fun, I knew that I would enjoy seeing the images captured by others, what I didn’t expect was the reminder of a valuable lesson learned yet one more time… my life is better when I am fully present!
